A Wonderful Week – WB 20.3.23

We have had a lovely week in Year 6 this week. On Tuesday, some of us were picked to go and pick litter in our local community. It was great to see how many children wanted to get involved in the ‘Great British Spring Clean’ and we hope that we will be able to do it again soon.

We also spent some time in history looking at evacuation. We analysed statements to decided whether we thought the children in them had had a positive or negative experience during evacuation. After that, we also analysed sources to decide how life in Runcorn was during the war and whether it was necessary for children in Runcorn to be evacuated or not.
