Autumn Planting

In Reception we have been planting our Autumn Bulbs. The children enjoyed exploring the different bulbs and we talked about what we thought they may grow into. The children thought they were planting onions! We looked at the packet and discovered the bulbs will grow into beautiful daffodils and tulips. We talked about how we needed to bury them deep into the soil and that in the spring, when the animals wake up after a winter of hibernating, we will have some beautiful flowers.
