We have had so much fun recently making our Doodlers! First we had to look at products that contained motors to understand how motors worked and what happened in a circuit because of them. Then we made our own electrical circuits and ensured we could put one together using a motor. After this we had to take a part a ready made motor to tinker with it and understand how it worked. We analysed the product to check whether all of the different parts worked best in different ways; for example, we checked whether highlighters worked better than felts or we checked whether the motor was best on the top or the side. We then got to design our own doodler and ensure that it was suitable for a certain user. We had lots of fun making and putting them together.
