History – The Industrial Revolution

Did you know what impact the Industrial Revolution had on our town? This week, we have spent time looking at a range of maps and historical sources to draw our own conclusions about the developments in Runcorn during this time. Runcorn developed a lot from 1750 – 1900 with the building of tanneries, factories, bridges and railways and this had a range of both positive and negative impacts.
