Marvellous Counting

This week in Maths we have been helping Crispin to count out a larger group of objects. Crispin found this really tricky because he kept forgetting what he had already counted! Reception helped his develop some strategies he could use when counting out larger quantities including moving objects when they have been counted or organising them into rows. We then practiced this with our working partner. The children scatted a large number of objects onto the paper and then put them into lines to help count them out efficiently.
