Our First Week Back

We’ve started this half term with another busy week!
On Monday, to begin our next English Text ‘The Unforgotten Coat’, a suspicious fur coat arrived in our classroom with some Polaroids in the pocket. We used the Polaroids to make predictions about the text, thinking carefully about how to add detail to our predictions using multi-clause sentences.
Thursday was our class assembly. We enjoyed sharing our learning with our parents and we loved letting them take part in some of the practical activities we have been doing.
We have also taken the time to pause and reflect this week as Remembrance Day approaches. Our head/deputy team will be attending the cenotaph on Sunday to lay a wreath on behalf of all children and staff at Victoria Road.
