Outdoor Fun

This week the children have been enjoying outdoor play. There have been lots of examples of children being ‘Exploring Elephants’ by trying out new things and showing lots of curiosity. We have had children testing their physical skills by construction and quality assuring their own obstacle courses as well as supporting each other to manage risk and overcome fears. In addition, they have been working together to create water falls, adapting ideas to change the flow. We even found a huge wiggly worm in the soil this week which provided opportunity for children to observe closely and ask lots of questions!
