Pattern Making

In Reception we have been exploring patterns. We found out that a pattern is when repeat something again and again. We started the week by looking at colour patterns and the children spent lots of time creating their own colour patterns. Children were encouraged to say what pattern they made for example, “I have made a red and blue pattern.” We discovered that you could make lots of patterns including size and objects. What a busy week of learning we have had in Reception!
