Who lives in the cold?

This half term to support our winter theme we set up an artic area for the children to explore. This group of girls enjoyed using the information book to find out more about animals that live in the cold and talked about what it might feel like to live somewhere cold. They were shocked to find out that Polar Bears liked to eat seals! Using the pictures on the map they were able to locate where the animals might live, “Look the Polar Bears live here at the top!”
