Wiggly Worms
We love digging in our soil area and were delighted to find a wiggly worm buried deep in our soil. The children enjoyed observing the worm and it stimulated lots of questions including, “Where are his eyes?” and “What does he like to eat?” So we used the worm book to find out more information about the life of the worm and found lots of interesting facts. We also added a ruler to the area and the children loved measuring the length of the worm.
Why don’t you go on a worm hunt at home and ask your child to share their knowledge of worms!
