About Us:
At Victoria Road, we work closely with parents and carers to ensure that each and every child’s access to the school, the curriculum and all aspects of school life are met to the very best of our ability, according to individual need. Their progress is monitored closely and regularly to ensure that their needs are met and that any barriers to achievement are minimised and overcome.
Our provision for children with SEND is thorough and regularly reviewed in order to ensure that each child meets their full potential.

Victoria Road Primary School  provides support across the 4 broad areas of need laid out in the SEN Code of Practice 2014:
Communication and Interaction (including social interaction difficulties and speech and language and communication difficulties)
Cognition and Learning.
Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
Sensory and/or Physical Needs (including physical needs, hearing impairment and visual impairment)
