Trip to Liverpool

To learn more about our History unit on the Port of Liverpool, we took a trip to Liverpool Museum and the Albert Dock this week. We took part in a workshop where we explored the goods that Liverpool imported and exported through various trading routes. We also learnt about the growth of Liverpool from only 3 streets back in 1207 to the Waterfront we have today. In the afternoon, we took a very windy walk around the Albert Dock to locate some of the buildings and statues we had been learning about. What a wonderful day!
